A4S Summit 2021

Following COP26, the 15th annual A4S Summit 2021 was a springboard for action for the finance community. The event covered practical actions that finance leaders are taking, as well as focusing on the remaining challenges in addressing environmental and social risks and opportunities.

Across the week, the finance community came together for:

  • Inspiration during the Plenary Day, with over 1000 attendees across the day.
  • Celebration during the inaugural A4S Academy Graduation, where 52 change makers marked their completion of the programme.
  • Collaboration during peer-to-peer CFO roundtables, covering climate action, resilience, finance culture and engaging with capital markets.
  • Discussion during the Accounting Bodies Network Annual General Meeting, where plans were made for the coming year.

Below you can see the recordings from the Plenary Day, featuring insights and actions towards a resilient and sustainable economy.

This session covered the latest updates and what they mean for you.

PLENARY FOUR: VALUING SOCIAL AND HUMAN CAPITAL

The pandemic has put a spotlight on the importance of social and human capital including mental health, job creation, and diversity, equity and inclusion. This session explored how the finance community is central to creating positive social impact.
