The CIPFA Sustainability Working Group Reports

The CIPFA Sustainability Working Group played a key role in developing two new guides directly linked to sustainability issues for the public sector: The ‘Producing a Sustainability Report’ guide promotes a reporting approach that is clear, concise and that avoids unnecessary complexity while providing information that will support the organisation in better identifying and responding to sustainability related opportunities and threats. Financing Energy Projects’ demonstrates how improving energy efficiency can result in significant economic and environmental benefits. This publication provides an overview of public sector energy schemes and their financing. CIPFA is also participating in workshops and discussions on reporting linked to development of the Welsh Government Future Generations Bill.
