Climate Disclosure Standards Board (CDSB) - Finance for the Future Awards

CDSB has delivered something of vital importance that others have spoken about but not acted upon for years. The organization has worked effectively as part of a collaborative network and acted as a catalyst for the development of a broad reporting framework. This framework demonstrates how traditional financial measures and new – primarily environmental – data can coexist for organizations and the institutions that invest in them.

This case study has been put together via the Finance for the Future Awards. The Awards are organized in partnership with ICAEW and Deloitte. You can download the case study below and also watch the video interview conducted before the awards night.

"Investors were increasingly aware of, and concerned with, the impact of environmental factors on future company valuations. And there was a growing need for standardisation in the world of environmental reporting."
