Developing a finance culture that is fit for the future

About the event:

No matter how good your strategy, policies and procedures, unless you have the right culture to support implementation, you will struggle to achieve your aims. Creating a finance culture which embraces sustainable decision making is key to long term success.

This event, including a panel session and keynote address by Shirley Rodrigues, Deputy Mayor of London for Environment and Energy, will explore how to create a finance culture which supports the development of a sustainable business model, drawing on insights from The Prince's Accounting for Sustainability Project's (A4S) work with members of its CFO Leadership Network. It will focus on some of the challenges specific to finance teams, and how they can be overcome.

The session will be followed by an invitation-only workshop for finance teams exploring in more detail the practical tools and case studies in the A4S Essential Guide to Finance Culture. If you are a member of a finance team and would also like to join this two hour workshop, or would like to nominate a member of your finance team to attend, please email events@a4s.org to express your interest and a member of the A4S team will be in touch to confirm.
