CANADIAN CFO LEADERSHIP NETWORK - SOCIAL AND HUMAN CAPITAL ACCOUNTING PANEL DISCUSSION

In June 2019, A4S hosted a panel discussion exploring how leading organizations are implementing the often-quoted cliché in business that “people are our biggest asset”. The discussion, in partnership with CPA Canada, saw Members of the Canadian Chapter of the A4S CFO Leadership Network come together to disused the A4S Guide to Social and Human Capital Accounting, a guide produced by European A4S peers. Brian Lawson from Brookfield Asset Managers, Karen Higgins from The Co-Operators Group and Patrice Impey from the City of Vancouver, shared their experiences, and impacts of implementing social and human capital into their respective organizations’ processes.
