A4S Online Summit 2025

The A4S Online Summit 2025 is our flagship virtual event for senior finance professionals, equipping participants with ways to advance net zero, nature positive and just transition strategies in the face of a shifting global landscape.

Below you can find the session recordings where you can hear insights from CFOs and other finance leaders into the latest developments and benefit from top tips on the actions that you can take. The topics and steps discussed include:

  1. Building a common narrative framework to strengthen the business case for net zero, nature positive and just transition strategies, linking long-term value creation to risk mitigation.
  2. Exploring the role of AI and advanced analytics in decision making, and provide tools for integrating nature into finance.
  3. How global CEOs, CFOs and other leaders address barriers to transformation and build collaboration across the finance ecosystem to drive systemic change.

Session 1

This session explores the kinds of narratives that can drive positive change and transform behaviours. It will help finance leaders make the business case for net zero, nature positive and just transition strategies, develop clear and credible transition narratives tailored to CFOs and finance teams, strengthen the business and financial rationale for sustainability by linking long-term value creation to the mitigation of systemic risks, and demonstrate how sustainability risks can threaten business resilience and stakeholder trust.

Session 2

This session dives into the role of agentic AI in complex scenario planning and performance monitoring, best practice approaches for using AI ethically across governance, disclosure and assurance, and how automation can enhance accuracy and transparency in sustainability reporting.

Session 3

This session explores key themes across accounting, reporting and transition planning, including how to ensure financial accounting and reporting practices are meaningful, transparent and reflective of today’s context, unlocking financing at scale for social and environmental impact by integrating sustainability into investment decisions and capital allocation, and using global sustainability standards and frameworks to close data and information gaps across value chains, supporting consistency and comparability.

Session 4

This session explores how to ensure financial accounting and reporting practices are meaningful, transparent and reflective of today’s context, unlocking financing at scale for social and environmental impact by integrating sustainability into investment decisions and capital allocation, and using global sustainability standards and frameworks to close data and information gaps across value chains, supporting consistency and comparability.

Session 5

This discussion explores the practical tools and knowledge needed to integrate nature into decision making, risk management and reporting, the skills and behaviours to recognize nature and climate risks as core financial risks, influencing capital flows and business performance, and ways to strengthen financial decision-making frameworks to be forward-looking and nature-aware, capturing dependencies and impacts across portfolios and operations. The conversation also sheds light on how to translate environmental and social data into actionable insights that drive real-world change and measurable outcomes.
