CFO Meeting, 11th December 2015

Members of the A4S CFO Leadership Network led sessions with CFOs from around the world to explore the leadership role that finance can play in addressing global environmental and social challenges over the coming decade, and the commercial benefits of doing so. Network members shared their experiences and led discussions on practical actions that finance teams can take.

In the afternoon, the CFOs were joined by asset managers and owners to discuss how they can take action to integrate environmental and social risk and opportunity into investment decisions. The session opened with a presentation by Euan Munro, CEO, Aviva Investors, providing his thoughts on how investors are integrating sustainability into the investment process. This was followed by a roundtable discussion to identify and prioritise actions.
