The A4S Controllers Forum and the A4S Internal Audit & Risk Management Forum will convene during Climate Week NYC for an interactive workshop. The session will equip participants with a better understanding of how to respond efficiently and effectively with emerging sustainability disclosure requirements, as well as how to improve and optimize sustainability-related data. The session will also include several guest speakers to provide updates on the latest developments related to sustainability issue identification, data management, data quality, and disclosure. A briefing with additional details will be sent to participants one week in advance.
An optional dinner for attendees will also be organized for Wednesday, 24 September.
Target Audience: Finance, Accounting, Audit, and Risk professionals that have (or will have) direct involvement with sustainability matters.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
After attending the workshop, participants should be able to:
- Describe the latest developments on sustainability reporting requirements
- Understand the role of the control environment in enhancing sustainability data quality
- Develop actionable steps to improve sustainability data management and disclosure
