This interactive workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of sustainability assurance, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to navigate the evolving landscape of ESG reporting and assurance. A key component of the course will be to discuss approaches and challenges with other participants to enable peer exchange.
Target Audience: Finance, Accounting, and Audit professionals that have (or will have) direct involvement with the sustainability assurance process, including preparation for assurance. Given the collaboration required for sustainability assurance, this workshop is also open to sustainability professionals that are attending alongside their finance and accounting colleagues.

- Describe sustainability assurance requirements from regulatory bodies
- Understand the role of the control environment in enhancing sustainability data quality
- Develop actionable steps to prepare for sustainability assurance
