Now in its sixth edition, the World Climate Investment Summit brings together senior leaders and policymakers who are directing capital towards the sectors shaping the next economic cycle. Taking place during London Climate Action Week (LCAW), it has become a key moment in the global calendar to align investment priorities.

A4S Session: Scenario analysis: a board’s strategic tool for future resilience 

Time: 12:00-12:50 BST 

Kerry King, Executive Director of Capital Markets at A4S, will host a roundtable session exploring how boards across financial institutions can take greater ownership of scenario analysis by:

  • Clarifying its role in decision-making.
  • Challenging underlying assumptions.
  • Combining quantitative outputs with narrative-led approaches to better address uncertainty, non-linear change, and hard-to-model risks.
  • Setting clear expectations for investment teams and service providers.

This session will draw on practical examples to demonstrate how different approaches are being applied and how they are shaping core investment and risk decisions, alongside the launch of A4S’s latest guide: Using Scenario Analysis for Future Resilience: Top Tips for Pension Fund Chairs and Trustees.
