A4S & TNFD webinar: bringing nature into financial decision making

About this event

Date: 10 September 2026
Time: 13:00 – 14:00 (BST)
Location: online

Nature-related dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities can affect costs, revenues, asset values, supply chains and access to capital. Yet they are not always visible in the information used for planning, investment and strategic decisions.

For CFOs and finance teams, an important first step is asking questions that reveal where the organization depends on nature, where exposure may be concentrated and how these issues could affect financial performance and resilience.

In September, A4S will bring together finance leaders to explore how they are applying the questions in Asking Better Questions on Nature: A guide for CFOs, developed with the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures.

The session will examine how finance teams can:

  • identify the financial implications of nature-related dependencies, risks and opportunities
  • incorporate nature into strategic planning, financial analysis and capital allocation
  • strengthen their response to changing investor, regulatory and stakeholder expectations

The webinar is intended for CFOs and finance teams beginning to integrate nature into their work, as well as those looking to strengthen their existing approach.

Speakers

  • Silvia Vilas Boas - CFO of Natura
  • Judson Berkey - Managing Director of Sustainability, UBS
  • Tony Goldner, CEO of TNFD
