About the awards

The Finance for the Future Awards recognize financial leadership in building sustainable economies.

A4S, ICAEW and Deloitte work in partnership on the Awards to highlight the financial leadership which is key to creating resilient, sustainable business models and to celebrate examples of leadership by individuals, projects and organizations.

Finance for the Future’s ambition is to share best practice as well as create and develop a community of thought leaders and recognized experts in this field.

The awards are free to enter and open to all organizations internationally including businesses, charities, social enterprises and the public sector.

Announcing the finalists for the 2022 Finance for the Future Awards!

Here’s who’s in the running for each category:

In the Embedding an Integrated Approach (Non-Listed Companies) category, the finalists are: Edinburgh Airport, Xtrac Ltd, Zealandia Ecosanctuary, Forico Pty Limited and Anglo African Ltd.

In the Embedding an Integrated Approach (Listed Companies) category, the finalists are: Olam, NatWest Group, Deutsche Post DHL Group, MPIC, Smurfit Kappa, Tesco, British Land, and Natura.

In the Communicated Integrated Thinking category, the finalists are: Tesco, Burberry, NatWest Group, Smurfit Kappa, SSE plc and Forico Pty Limited.

In the Moving Financial Markets (Large Organisations) category, the finalists are: Aviva Investors, Moody's Corporation and S&P Global.

In the Moving Financial Markets (Small and Medium-Sized Funds, Projects and Initiatives) category, the finalists are: Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, First Nations Finance Authority, Net Purpose, Environmental Clean Technologies Limited and DZCIB.

In the Driving Change in the Finance Community, the finalists are: Planet Tracker, Ceres, Inc., University of Cambridge, Make My Money Matter, Global Alliance for Banking on Values and Competent Boards.

How to enter next year

The Awards are free to enter and open to all individuals and organisations globally, including businesses, charities, social enterprises, the public sector, education institutions, think tanks, collaborations and coalitions. Joint entries are also welcome.
