HRH THe Prince of Wales' Speech - The Prince's Accounting for Sustainability Project

Relationship with other organisations

The goal of the Accounting For Sustainability (A4S) Project is to provide organisations with the methodology and tools to enable them to:

a) embed sustainability into day-to-day processes (into the organisations' "DNA") and

b) to report more effectively on their sustainability performance

The Project shares these goals with a number of other organisations, many of whom provide the Project with their experience through regular contact or representation on the various governing boards / groups of the Project. These include:

  • Global Reporting Initiative
  • Forum for the Future
  • Business In The Community
  • Sustainable Development Commission

Within The Prince's Charities there are several organisations that operate in the 'Responsible Business and the Natural Environment' arena. The focus of the Project is accounting for sustainability, and where relevant, we continue to work together to achieve a consistent approach and support each other's goals.
