Jessica Fries, Executive Chairman
Jessica is Executive Chairman of The Prince’s Accounting for Sustainability Project (A4S). Over the past two years, she has been Executive Director of both A4S and the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC), responsible for establishing and running the IIRC. She is now on the IIRC’s Board and Deputy Chairman of its Working Committee. She has been on secondment to A4S and the IIRC from PricewaterhouseCoopers where she has worked with a wide range of companies, governments, investors and not-for-profit organizations to help them integrate sustainability into core business processes and activities. Jessica has returned to PwC to lead global activities on the future of corporate reporting and accounting for sustainability. Jessica has worked with a wide range of organisations during her time with PwC including Royal Dutch Shell, National Grid, Centrica, The Commission for a Sustainable London 2012, Anglo American and the Environment Agency. Jessica is a chartered accountant, has an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and a BA in Economics from Cambridge University.
Sarah Nolleth, Director
Sarah is on secondment to A4S from Deloitte where she provided sustainability advice to a range of private and public organisations. She led the climate risk and adaption group advising clients on how to build resilience in order to ‘future proof’ their organisation from the wide ranging impacts of climate change. Sarah also provided advice on sustainability strategy and the future of corporate reporting and is a trained carbon certifier. Sarah is a chartered accountant, has an MSc (Distinction) in Environmental Sciences from Imperial College London and a BA in Biological Sciences from Oxford University.
Matty Yates, Head of the International Network
Matty is on secondment from Ernst & Young, where she is a senior member of the Global team that develops and implements methodologies and enablers for use throughout the international firm. During her career, in South Africa and in the UK, Matty has undertaken a variety of projects and roles, with a common theme of promoting and embedding organizational change. Her experience includes nurturing networks that champion change and helping people to develop their skills through training and coaching. Matty is a chartered accountant, and has a B.Com (Honours) in Financial Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.
Victoria Windmill, Project Manager
Victoria is on secondment to A4S from Deloitte where she is an active member of the Climate Change and Sustainability network and has provided corporate tax advice to organisations in the Energy, Infrastructure and Utilities sector. Her experience at Deloitte has included a secondment as Project Manager to a start-up organisation investing in Rainforest Projects and spending time working in India. Victoria is a chartered accountant and has a BA in Anthropology from the University of Durham.
Bethan Walker, Communications Officer
Bethan has worked in both the public and private sector, and has provided media relations within the industrial, technology and financial sectors, which included research regarding sustainable architecture and contributing to a FTSE 100 CSR campaign. She has also provided outreach support to an advisory NDPB on women’s rights, and previously worked at the Greater London Authority arranging events relating to the London boroughs. Bethan has a BA in English Literature from the University of Warwick.
Charlotte Masiello-Riome, Communications Strategy Advisor
Charlotte has developed high-level multi-lingual communication strategies, partnerships and outreach activities, especially related to sustainability issues, in both the public and private sector. Prior to joining A4S, Charlotte served as Communications Officer for the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the International Network of UNESCO Chairs in Communications (Orbicom) and is a jury member for the Sustainability Innovation Globe Award. Charlotte holds a BA in International Studies and Journalism from American University in Washington, DC USA and has an MA in Mass Communications (Merit) from Leicester University.
